Sublime Text as notes taker

Sublime Text is a generic text editor that provides syntax highlighting and has an extensive API that saw a boom of plugins that helped developers from all kind of languages.

It comes with line numberings on the left of the editor which makes it friendly for note taking, allowing you to write one point per line. If your line is way too long, it is a sign that the point needs to break down and simplify in order to understand it later.
