So you actually prefer how github works, but you want something that shows design repo's like a gallery. Did you know that codeship (as example) uses the repositories of github to add additionally functionality. It wouldn't be that hard to actually allow login through Github on your website and parse repositories that have an index.html as a gallery.
Very interesting idea! Certainly like it. When do we start ;)
Nice article Jonathan, it supports my own opinions.
Interesting. never heard of Anchor. Something i can also recommend is bolt - www.bolt.cm. It's based on Symfony2 and uses a very nifty inline yaml editor to create post types on the fly.
Going to try anchor now :)
As to @rodnaph's example I now have a few red marker stripes over my screen.
Just imagine how the current youth grow up. Being online, using facebook/twitter is almost expected. There is hardly a choice to make for them. Combine that with your quote; the future might only exist of people who need no longer think for themselves or take up the quest to research what choice to take in a certain situation. Mankind will turn to the wisdom and foolishness of the internet and each other.
Great post!
