Started as an intern a few years ago in software development while going to school at Harper Community College for Software Developent. I pushed the bosses hard enough and they finally hired me. I haven't finished my degree yet, but hope to next year sometime. While at MacLean-Fogg I have been introduced to all kinds of fun, and not so fun, technologies to play with. I've worked with VB6, VBA, .NET, ASP.NET MVC4, Entity Framework, WCF. We built a back and frontend for Motorola handheld scanners using ASP.NET MVC4, Entity Framework, and WCF that works on the ancient IE6. I've built a Windows Service to detect and clean a specific virus that for some reason the antivirus companies just can't seem to do. Latest ongoing research is Wordpress for Web dev and iOS for app dev.
