Remove the ugly splits separator

Just add this to your .vimrc

set fillchars=""

instead of ("vert:|,fold:-"). Vim will look a lot nicer ! without this ugly column of pipe separating the vertical windows.

You may also want to customize the VertSplit in the colorscheme.
