Sublime Text: Keyboard Shortcuts

Feel Fast Sitting Down

You've gotta crawl before you can run. Bottom line. But once you've got that crawling stuff down there’s no reason not to pick up the tempo. If you've never invested the time and brainpower into learning the keyboard shortcuts for a piece of software you use regularly I urge you to try it. You may be surprised at how quickly you adopt certain shortcuts into regular patterns of behavior.

Of particular interest to me, and thus possibly to you, are the following:

  • Distraction free fullscreen (very zen)
  • All the finding things commands (especially for longer documents)
  • Add next occurrence to selection (try it on the first instance of a group of similar selectors i.e. list items, and rejoice in the knowledge that you can manipulate them all simultaneously without leaving the keyboard)
