It's amazed me that there isn't a native implementation of Less for some time. This will almost certainly make me switch to Sass :)

Good job :) But why the transfer of python parts in C-Code ? Are such speed improvements for an SASS's SCSS -compiler really essential ?

You can also check https://github.com/pistolero/python-scss
It is not pure Python, but it uses libsass and therefore 100% compatible with mainstream Sass compiler.
