Hosting in the cloud

You can host websites using simple file sync applications such as Dropbox or Google Drive. Granted that they are only static HTML/CSS/JS sites but can be useful in pinch. Simply add the files to you application and then share them publicly like normally.

I've found the Neutron Drive app to be an awesome IDE on top of Google Drive. For Dropbox I just use vim and I imagine it is similar using Google Drive but since there isn't a Linux version out I'm not sure about it.

ps. apparently new users of Dropbox do not have the ability to host static files
