Good stuff. I recently switched to BTRFS (I know it's not stable, but I like being on the edge), but when I used to use LVM I used a similar scheme. I would recommend adding an additional logical volume for /var with reiserfs, which handles big files and small writes (eg. logs) better than ext4.
