Getting into Ruby on Rails?

Just getting into rails? There are quite a few resources and tutorials out there.

From personal experience I suggest the following sequence:
1. Rail for Zombies as an appetizer - http://railsforzombies.org/
2. Michael Hartl's RoR tutorial - http://ruby.railstutorial.org/ruby-on-rails-tutorial-book

For a newcomer, it's a handfull of information to digest and these guides will surely help you as a starting point.

The official Ruby on Rails Guides are also quite useful for the beginner (and experienced) developer.

Why's (Poignant) Guide To Ruby is probably the best out there for beginners.
