Key repeat instead of accents in OS X

The accent character entry feature in OS X is greeeeeeaaaaatttttt if you don't looooooooooove to hold down keys for emphasis. Hold down keys as long as you like by opening a Terminal and entering the following:

defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false
