Test SASL with Dovecot
You can test if you Dovecot SASL configuration is working by using the doveadm command included in Dovecot like this:
doveadm auth -a /var/spool/postfix/private/dovecot_auth pbruna 123456dovecot_auth is the socket you had configured in Dovecot.
