Whitespace is useless!

BEST....ALIAS....EVER

alias diff='git diff -w'

Because let's be honest, you do a git diff way more often than diff-ing two files outside of git. And no one wants to see a diff full of red blocks at the end of lines

in case you didn't know, you can always preface an alias with '\' to get the original command
