Chrome Task Manager

If your tab freezes because you accidentally got yourself stuck in an endless loop, and Chrome won't let you close the tab the regular way, you can find it in the Chrome Task Manager.

On Mac OS X :

Window > Task Manager

Sort by CPU usage, your tab will probably be at the top. Click End Process and get yourself a nice "Aw, Snap!" page.
