I am a web designer and developer based in SE Portland with over 16 years of professional experience.
For the last 4 years I have been working primarily as a freelancer or on a contract basis. This work has primarily involved WordPress development and responsive HTML email campaigns, but occasionally some Bootstrap-based projects as well. I have been working with a few major clients including Deckers Footwear brands’ emails (Teva, UGG, Sanuk, etc.) and several WordPress freelance clients (see work in my freelance portfolio below). With these clients I am developing and maintaining web sites, performing site migrations (much of my work is done on my dev server, then I move it to their host), theme customization (including tweaking CSS media queries to work better for the client’s needs). I also set up Google Analytics and Search Console as well as automated reports. I am also currently taking a Udemy course on PSD to Bootstrap to WordPress theme, so I will be making custom themes very soon as well.
I have recently moved into my own office space in SE Portland and have one steady client but I am looking for that second piece to the puzzle so I can make a full go at staying out on my own as a freelancer. My availability is pretty open as I am able to work whenever I want and I schedule my own work and projects.
