Gnome FTP Session Timeout

If you working with Gnome FTP sessions you must be notice that sessions can suddenly ends when you working on a file.

For Ubuntu

Hit Alt+F2 and type dconf-editor and follow org > gnome > desktop > session.You will find session timeout value.I prefer to use 86400 for 24 hour timeout.
