Reduce the filesize in PowerPoint 2010
My PowerPoint file was a behemoth, largely due to extra, invisible meta data on pictures I had pasted in. To get it under control:
File > Save As. Next to the Save button, pull down the Tools menu and select Compress Pictures. Then Save.
This cut my file size in half.
