Use Chrome's Multi-User Mode

While Google does support multiple sign-in, I find that the implementation is a bit troublesome (especially when trying to follow links into Google Drive, Calendar, or Hangouts).

Instead, use Chrome's multi-user feature to separate your sessions (work, personal). I find that it works much smoother.

Just go to Settings > Users

Plus, you get to spice up your browser window with cool icons.
