Can't remember that handy bash command from earlier today?
Use "ctrl - r" from bash, and start typing. Bash will do a reverse search through previous commands. Hit enter when it shows up and you're good to go!

Only works in emacs mode. In vi-mode, / + search (exactly like how you search within vi)!
