Stop the FF Download Dialog
As an Awesome WM and Firefox user, I have been tired of seeing that frustrating download dialog pop up and throw off all of my nicely tiled windows. This has been bugging me for ages. I just found the solution after some considerable googling:
- Open a new tab
- type about:config in the address bar, and accept the warning.
- type browser.download.manager.showWhenStarting in the searchbar
- Change the value of that key from true to false.
- Enjoy downloading without a progress dialog.
