How DO people read web comics?
Back in 2010 I determined to launch an archive of all my comics ever. I didn't want to just copy what the other web comickers were doing, though. As a reader, I had my own complaints about how web comics sites work. I wondered if my readers had complaints, too. So I set about a process of research, design, and testing which revealed some very interesting things about how people read web comics. If you're considering posting comics online or building a site for someone who will, please have a look over my findings.
Keep in mind, your mileage may vary, and you should always interview your own readers and test your own designs before slap-dashedly employing someone else's :)
