show TCP network traffic [unix]
Nifty little tool to monitor network traffic of your processes. It's essentially top for the network
nettop -m tcp #By default, nettop will monitor TCP and UDP sockets.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iftop if available on your distro can be very handy for this too
