Fix permission issues with a Wordpress install on a Plesk controlled host
For example in Media Temple's DV servers, this can be an issue with default settings. The problem is usually evident when trying to:
- upload files through the wordpress admin
- perform wordpress upgrades through the admin
- update plugins
Solution:
Simply enable FastCGI in Plesk.
