Never terminate the mac installer.app
Either through code or by pressing cmd+Q, never quit the mac installer. The reason is that if the installer is quit, then the next time installer is launched the restore windows workflow kicks in. This might have unexpected results like opening the previously "Quitted" installer instead of the one you double clicked on.
