Solved - Korean IPS Panel Kernel Panic on OS X
Anyone that gets one of these korean IPS panels and has kernel panics on OS X when you plug it in, you need to get the usb-powered Dual-link DVI adapter from Apple. This is the $100 one, not the $29. You will need this on the laptops for sure.
