Gaps between Emailers images in Gmail

Gmail handles HTML-formatted emails differently, because of which a horizontal gap will be shown between images.

Most of the blogs and articles says that adding a to style=”display:block” the image tag “img” solves the problem, that solution helped most of the people, but didn’t work for me.

Found a solution by adding a style=”line-height:0″ to a table row element “tr”.
