todo
is a simple shell command for adding, listing, and deleting todo list within your bash command!
Install
Run on Terminal
Copy&Paste below commands on your terminal.
curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/KENJU/shellscript_todo/master/todo.sh > /usr/local/bin/todo;chmod u+x /usr/local/bin/todo;
In detail, please have a look at below codes with comments.
# Download todo.sh
$ curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/KENJU/shellscript_todo/master/todo.sh > /usr/local/bin/todo
# Add permission
$ chmod u+x /usr/local/bin/todo.sh
# Run todo
$ todo -h
If you have not yet added /usr/local/bin
to your path, run the below command.
# Add /usr/local/bin to yoru $PATH
$ export PATH=/usr/local/bin:$PATH
Usage
Add
Adds a new todo.
$ todo -a "Fixes minor bug"
$ todo --add "Fixes minor bug" # same with -a
Examples
$ todo -a Buy a milk
$ todo --add Buy an egg
$ todo -a "Buy a milk"
$ todo --add "Buy an egg"
List
Lists all todos.
$ todo -l
$ todo --list # same with -l
Examples
$ todo -l
------------------------------------
Total: 1
------------------------------------
1 : update todo readme
Delete
$ todo -d
$ todo --delete # same with -d
Examples
$ todo -d
------------------------------------
Total: 1
------------------------------------
1 : update todo readme
> Type todo id to delete : 1 # Type ID which you want to delete
Successfully deleted the todo.
Reset
$ todo -r
$ todo --reset # same with -r
Examples
$ todo -r
Delete All Todos.
