SVG - How to create and use vector graphics on the web

I wrote an article on my blog on how to create / use vector graphics without Photoshop.

http://timpietrusky.com/svg-how-to-create-and-use-vector-graphics-on-the-web

Inside the article you will find a screencast in which I show you how to convert a hand drawn scribble to SVG with the web based editor svg-edit

Table of contents

  1. What is a SVG?
  2. How to create/use a SVG
  3. Convert a scribble to SVG (screencast)
  4. Use the created SVG
  5. Browser support
