Jump Between Words
This one requires a settings change in Terminal (OS X), but will make your life a lot easier. In Terminal's preferences click the "Settings" tab and on the right side you'll see buttons like "Text", "Window", "Shell", "Keyboard", and "Advanced". Click on "Keyboard". Then on the bottom you'll see a checkbox that says "Use option as a meta key". Check it and you'll now be able to use option+f and option+b to jump forward and back word by word.
