Github Atom Invites!
IT'S HAPPENING!
I just got an invite to the newly coveted Github Atom text editor beta. After trying to be clever on Twitter failed, I dropped into the ##atom IRC channel and got an invite within minutes.
For those in the market, there's also a dedicated channel ##atom-invitations. Make sure to also checkout discuss.atom.io. Note: the Atom beta is only available for OSX 10.8+
Once you get the invite, the first step is to authorize access to your Github account:
After that, you're free to download:
Unzip:
And launch!
I can't wait to port my Solarized Darcula theme over!

I clicked on the invite authorized my github account on my phone and when I went to the computer to download it when I got home I couldn't find anyway to get the download link. I'm logged into the github account I authorized but when I got to atom.io it just has a box for me to put my email in.
I would really like to check this editor out, even though I have become a emacs-convert as of late.
I would LOVE to try Atom out, does anyone have a spare invite they might be willing to share with me?
