Enable middle button scroll in Firefox on Ubuntu
Those who are transfering from Windows operating systems to linux operating systems usualy encounter the problem with mouse middle button.
In the windows, by default, when you click on a webpage with mouse middle button, scroll icon appear and you can easily scroll page by moving your mouse up and down.
On the Ubuntu, by default this option is disabled. In order to enable it you need to:
- Open "Edit - Preferences"
- Click on an "Advanced" tab
- Choose "General" tab
- Check "Use autoscrolling"
Or you can enable this by hand:
- Open about:config
- Search for general.autoScroll
- Set it to true (double-cluick)
Good luck!
