Below a certain threshold of intensity exercise will 30x30 Total Transformation do little or nothing in the way of increasing one's strength. But if intensity is high enough of very brief program of exercise will produce rapid increases in strength if training is really progressive.
When I mean by progressive that he is increasing the workload as one gets stronger by adding more resistance. Intensity means muscular intensity. Maximum intensity is involved only when a muscle is pulling as hard as momentarily possible, producing as much force as it is capable of producing at at possible time.

During a normal set of 10 repetitions with a bar bell the level of intensity varies from repetition to repetition and its maximum is only achieved during the final repetition and only then if the final repetition leads to a point of momentary failure. If if you are able to achieve 11 repetitions and give up at 10 then you have not reached maximum intensity.

Many people in the gym avoid the final two to three repetitions in a set believing that they have done enough. When when in fact it's a wasted effort. You must push yourself to the limit so that you cannot lift that bar bell on your own for one more repetition. This is the only way that you will achieve your full potential.

As a consequence most trainees produce results that are subpar because they have not finished the most important last two to three repetitions in a set. Next time you're in the gym take heed of this advice and push yourself to the absolute limit and in a short period of time you will see some serious results come your way.
