I use bash and a slightly different config, but this is a good tip that encourages people to stay in Vim (since Marked is read-only).

set vb t_vb= will do the same thing because setting the visual bell turns off the audio bell and clearing the visual bell length makes it inactive. See this protip for more information.

@mislav Heh. This is a case of reasonable minds disagreeing. I wrote it this way so people could follow along more easily. Basically the same reason as you. :)
