At its heart, online solitaire preserves the familiar and satisfying mechanics: start with a shuffled 52‑card deck, deal cards into tableau piles, draw from the stock, and aim to build the four foundation piles (one per suit) in ascending order from Ace through King. Many versions let you choose “draw 1” or “draw 3” modes to control difficulty, and some allow unlimited redeals to turn over more cards from the stock.
