If a woman breastfeeds without complications, she can decide whether and how long to breastfeed her baby. However, most women give birth to babies, and many experience common breastfeeding complications such as nipple trauma, breast accumulation, and mastitis in the early postpartum period. These complications increase the likelihood of further complications, such as Low milk volume, which often leaves the mother feeling that she has no choice but to stop sore nipples breastfeeding.

Our goal is to educate women during pregnancy so that they understand that the events that occur during labor and delivery significantly affect their breastfeeding journey. Hospital policies are problematic in terms of a woman's natural transition from childbirth, to delivering her baby, to breastfeeding. The demand for prompt care for women in, during, and outside the hospital with early discharge increases the risk of intervention, leading to abdominal surgery (cesarean section) and other medical interventions, which often lead to multistage operations.
