I'm exploring a mixture of Graphic Design, Web Programming, and Computer Science. I started as a Mechanical Engineer, if I were to finish though I would switch to computer engineering. Mechanical knowledge is straight forward enough so that if you simply have the equations and the foundational understanding of the scientific principals you can engineer things. Computer Engineering and Computer Science is specialized and I like this. I'm an artist at the end of the day, I love designing helpful imagery for others and just creating my own artwork. I want to understand the Computer from a hardware and software standpoint because I know it's use and implementation is doing nothing but increasing. I enjoy Web Design, but really enjoy Web Development. I've worked on Web-based projects for the past 6 years, in which I've also been involved in more than a dozen branding projects painting interiors, designing T-shirts, Magazines, etc. I seem to find the constant pursuit of something new enthralling and I can't keep from learning new things each year and then refining them the following years. It's 2014 and I'm focused on the Web this year, Databases, API's, JavaScript Frameworks, Server side languages, Front End Development, etc. After I iron out my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I'd like to grow my foundations in JQuery, PHP, MySql, ASP.net, and Ruby. Hopefully looking to get back into C, C++, C# and other Computer Programming languages next year while touching on Hardware later on. There's really so many cool things out there to learn about the Web and Computers, it will be so cool to see where I'm at in the next 6 years.
