I am Rohit Sinha, an aspiring software developer who strives to build things which can improve lives. Currently pursuing my masters in Computer Science from University of Minnesota. Alongside, I am also working as a Research Assistant at University of Minnesota where we are building an open source tool that automates the analysis and visualization of large sets of genetic data.
I love to work on back-end, enjoy designing front-end as well, and always look forward to solving challenges in system scalability. I get annoyed by products which are not built with user as their top priority. As a child, I wanted to be doctor but soon figured out that my curious mind is better suited for messing around with computers rather than lives. I am enthusiastic about technology, love playing ping pong and want to travel the whole world.
Last summer, I worked at Amazon - Seattle in their Web Application Platform and Builder Tools group as a Software Development Engineer - Intern.
I have also worked as a Programmer Analyst in Product Engineering Services with Embedded Technologies at MindTree Limited - India and obtained my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University(VTU), Belgaum – Karnataka, India in 2011.
