“Gets you to the bottom of your problems fast”
What do you like about the vendor?
It allows you to go deep into the issues of the app and gives great insights - reports are not complicated and are easy to grasp. Thumbs up for this because, at the end of the day, you just want to get to the bottom of the problem and fix it as fast as you can!
What do you dislike about the vendor?
None at the moment! Scout is awesome so far.
What problems does the vendor solve for you? How does it compare to other solutions you have tried?
It directs you to queries and slow pages. It points directly to the code that needs to be checked and fixed.

What do you like about the vendor?
All the information shown about our app is detailed and very useful. It points you to the code with issues and how it went wrong. Works well in Ruby and Elixir environment.
What do you dislike about the vendor?
While it works okay for both, I found the information I get from Ruby more usable. Elixir in Scout has made improvements but still not at par with that of their Ruby offering.
What problems does the vendor solve for you? How does it compare to other solutions you have tried?
We get instant views on the slow pages on our code.

“How was I not using this sooner”
What do you like about the vendor?
The reason why I chose Scout, frankly, was that it was giving me the facilities which no other software was giving. I had trouble isolating the trouble spots in my functions before Scout and now it’s all sorted for me.
What do you dislike about the vendor?
I was really concerned about the reliability of this software earlier before buying it. But now, all I can wonder is how was I even functioning without it.
What problems does the vendor solve for you? How does it compare to other solutions you have tried?
There were so many complex tools which I was using to find out the hotspots and areas slowing me down, but none gave accurate results despite immense hard work. That is no longer the case though now that I am using Scout.

“Super Easy to Install!”
What do you like about the vendor?
Scout's installation process was very easy to understand. I like their homepage because the content is very clear and easy to read and understand.
What do you dislike about the vendor?
It would be nice if Scout could be used for checking Jekyll templating. This would then be a very big help for me since I generate a lot of static websites.
What problems does the vendor solve for you? How does it compare to other solutions you have tried?
Prior to having this application, I had problems trying to figure out my queries. This app is a time saver for it helped me see where the root cause of the problem is in no time

“Great APM”
What do you like about the vendor?
I was having app issues and I was having a hard time being quick to resolve them which really slowed things down for my customers. The thing is, if it weren't for Scout, I would have never even known that I actually had these issues. Issues that are pretty easy to resolve but if I didn't know they exist I would have never fixed them. So thank you, Scout! A week after I installed Scout through Heroku, my speed was at a standard level. The most wonderful thing about this software is that it offers a free trial for two weeks too so you can get to know if you like it before taking it on full time.
What do you dislike about the vendor?
So far, Scout has been very useful and very important to me and there is just nothing negative I can say about it.
What problems does the vendor solve for you? How does it compare to other solutions you have tried?
You would be able to see for yourself how it can amazingly enhance your app productivity and your response time to issue.
