Colorblind friendly palettes
As part of my research for Whipstaff and colorblind friendly designs I came across http://www.gilliganondata.com/index.php/2009/06/18/data-visualization-that-is-color-blind-friendly-excel-2007/ which is a good read.
One of the comments also points at http://colorbrewer2.org/ which provides some basic palettes which I will be using as part of my sample showcase.
