Disable Shutdown Event Tracker in Windows Server 2008
If the above image annoys you every time you need to restart/shutdown Windows Server, then you can disable it by following these steps.
- In the start menu, type
gpedit.msc
and launch it. - Go to: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Display Shutdown Event Tracker
- Edit the policy and set to
Disabled
