Faster key repeat on Os X
While working on an Ubuntu shell I always envy it's fast key repetition speed. The fastest setting in the keyboard config menu in Os X just doesn't cut it.
The solution. Enter this in a shell:
defaults write NSGlobalDomain KeyRepeat -int 1You are able to choose between 0 or 1, but I found 1 to be a bit more convenient and not too fast.
