Capture a color with DigitalColor Meter in OSX
Capture a color from your screen in OSX is easy. Just open DigitalColor Meter application ( inside utilities folder )
Select the color, and press cmd + shift + c. Voilà, the color has been copied in your clipboard.
If you want to select the color as Hexadecimal, go to the application menu > View > Display Values > Hexadecimal.
