Copy Gliffy diagram into Confluence, the hard way
Today I accidentally created a Gliffy diagram outside my Confluence user account and wanted to copy that into Confluence.
This should, in theory, be a simple task: Export the diagram as a *.gliffy file, import in Confluence. DONE!
Hahahaha. Yeah.
You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?
Confluence failed me multiple times for this method, so I had to work around, and here is how:
- Right-click in your Gliffy diagram and select "View diagram source". Copy the content of the popup.
- Create a new file on your computer, named
something.gliffy
and paste the diagram source in here. - Import that file into Confluence.
Phew. Weird, isn't it?
