SequelPro : Use it
If you use MySQL and develop on Mac OS X, then there is no better Database query tool out there better than SequelPro.
They even have a Postgres variant in the works. You won't see any hint of it even in the nightlies but THEY ARE working on it. On the other hand, I highly encourage you to use the nightlies. They are stable enough for development (really really solid programmers who care for you there).
In the meantime, learn about query favourites and shortcuts and use tab-completion to make frequently written queries faster. The trick is to explore the Query Favourites -> Edit Favourites bit on the Query View.
