Major Vulnerabilities in Data Base Server, MYSQL and Java SE has been fixed Recently

Oracle has recently fixed 154 vulnerabilities in data base server, MYSQL and Java SE. Out of all, 84 vulnerabilities were really critical and it could give remote access to third party users without authentication. Oracle has fixed all major vulnerabilities on time as they have not caused any severe damage yet.

However, attackers are always looking for such flaws that can be utilized in their favor for guaranteed results. It will not only exploit data to their party users but also it may result into potential damages. This may be taken in advantage of attacking those organizations that have not taken strict action against the problem yet.

If we talk about the database server error then major threat was cluster ware component where data can be transmitted over network without need of any authentication like username and password. Other error could affect Java components and database scheduler. The vulnerabilities will not affect the system where Oracle database server is not installed.

Thirty security issues in MySQL server has also been fixed by Oracle's team. The major problem was system monitor error where attackers can takeover complete machine without need of some authentication. Now error has been fixed and someone can get only limited control on your system after authentication only.

The other problem was HTTP splitting error where most sensitive information may be accessed by reading header content of file. Next issues are related to Java SE that has made Java Development risky and less secure. Java SE vulnerabilities have also been fixed by Oracle team and java development is again secure for web development and application development. Oracle will update with more secure solutions soon and team is putting maximum efforts to eliminated all the bugs reported currently.
