Mosh: A replacement for SSH

If you need to stay connected to a server via SSH all day long, you know how painful that can be. SSH can be very slow depending on your internet connection, and the fact that it waits for the server's reply before showing you your own typing is very annoying. Mosh is a replacement for SSH, it is faster and more responsive and it's features made me forget SSH for once and for good:

Roaming (Stay connected if your IP changes)

Mosh will keep you connected as you move between networks.

Keeps session if you go offline

If you lose internet connection or put your laptop to sleep, Mosh allows you to pick up previous sessions.

It is much, much faster

Mosh gives you instant response to typing, it does not wait for the server to reply.

Give Mosh a try, you won't regret it!
