How to install Ruby Enterprise Edition (REE) on Ubuntu 12.04 using ruby-build
For those of you who still manage to install Ruby Enterprise Edition (REE)
sudo CONFIGURE_OPTS="--no-tcmalloc" ruby-build ree-1.8.7-2012.02 /opt/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2012.02

Why don't you use my branch of REE.
Already the latest version of 1.8.7, which means all security problem has been fixed, and it compiles with tcmalloc, better memory allocation.
