Footer Copyright

I always used to write out:

© 2013 NameOfCompany

until I realised I might as well write:

&copy; <?php echo date("Y"); ?> NameOfCompany

Thanks to pHp, this will output the correct year (in 99.99% of cases)

Now it will always show the right year, I'm always a bit put off when a footer copyright says 2012 / 2011 / 2010 etc. It makes me think they haven't updated in a long time or maybe the company has gone bust or something.
