use Gulp for front end web development

if you haven't figured out how to use gulp to automate your build process, stop and do it now. It takes only a minute and can create a ton of efficiency in your workflow.

if you set it up correctly, you can use less or scss, coffeescript, minify, uglify and a whole lot more stuff. If you enable a watcher, grunt will actually look for file changes and run all of this in the background saving you a lot of time and work.
