Anyone frequenting #ruby on freenode must have seen ruboto. I wanted that in bash too and jhass helped me out. Just add

function ruboto() { 
    ruby -e "p ${@}" 
}

to your profile. After a fresh login

ruboto '!!0' 

yields

true
