AWS EC2 launch more like this

When burning through ec2 instances, trying to get deployments right, if you use the "launch more like this" option to duplicate failed instances, don't "terminate" your old instances first, or you'll need to repopulate fields in the sections that you make changes to. It seems as though the front end ec2 configuration ui looks to the instance you wanted to copy in order to duplicate it, so if it 's gone, it can't find your previous settings.
